A comrade has been imprisoned in the Lichtenberg women’s prison since October.
She is accused of militant action in response to bombings in Gaza and Lebanon.
The conditions of her imprisonment are especially harsh. They keep her in pre-trial detention with
the unusual justification of ,,a danger of repetition’’. She has spent several weeks in isolation
confinement, which is a form of torture.
Over the last year a broad movement has grown in support of the Palestinian struggle against the
Zionist occupation and genocide committed by the Israeli State. Rightly seeing this as a threat, the
German State has responded with heavy waves of repression against anyone involved in the
movement, from fundraising campaigns, to info-events or demonstrations.
For those of us in resistance who do not have german citizenship, this means facing a two class
system of justice that threatens with deportation as a form of added repression. Freedom of
movement and status of residency depends now also on the position towards ,,Israel’s right to self-
defense’’. Our comrade, too, is being targeted in this way and is at risk of losing her residency
status.
In the face of this repression we need to stand together.! We are in solidarity with all who fight for
liberation and value every form of resistance, if in the schools, at work, within our communities or
on the streets. All of this is what makes a movement.
On the 10th of January our comrade will be facing her first trial. There will be a manifestation at 10 AM infront of the court in Tiergarten, Turmstraße 91. Let us meet there to support her and watch out for further information published.

If Gaza burns Berlin burns, freedom to all prisoners, destroy all prisons and police!
